Recently the CDC has changed their masking recommendation, rating Dakota County’s
Community risk level as Low, based on hospitalization rates. Community transmission in Dakota
County, as defined by the number of daily new cases per capita, is currently
Substantial/Orange.

Based on the current situation and CDC guidelines, the church council is changing our policy so
that those who are fully vaccinated may choose to not wear a mask in church. We ask that
those who are not vaccinated continue to wear masks. Anyone who has been exposed to Covid
or is exhibiting symptoms must wear a mask, or consider worshipping online.

Please remember that children under 5 are not able to get vaccines, and that we have many
members with compromised immune systems, or who have family members who are.

As we have for the past two years, the New Day Team and Church Council will be monitoring
the CDC recommendations and ever-changing Covid situation. We also continue to pray that
this pandemic would come to an end, and we pray for those who continue to get sick, and
those who die from this disease, and their grieving families.
