Won’t you help be the reason a child can experience the joy of the gift-giving season? 360 Communities Armful of Love delivers fun holiday memories to hundreds of families every year. Christus Victor will be a part of this program (which has been in existence for more than 45 years) again in 2023.

As written in an email from 360 Communities to Armful of Love donors:

“Many of us find great joy in shopping for and picking out gifts for our loved ones. Gift cards allow parents and guardians in the program to feel that same joy. 360 Communities changed the program years ago to provide gift cards instead of wrapped gifts after families told us that is what they prefer.  This change created a dignified experience for parents and guardians to pick out gifts specific to their children.”

Please consider donating to this community holiday gift program in one of two ways.

Deadline for all donation drop-offs is Sunday, October 29TH

  • Donate gift cards valued at $25, $50, $75 or $100 for any of the following: Target, Walmart, Amazon, MasterCard, Cub Foods, Aldi   Please include the activation receipt with your gift cards and place in sealed envelope marked “Armful of Love.” Also, please mark the dollar amount on the front of the card if it is not already indicated.
  • Make a monetary donation. Money received through monetary donations will be used by 360 Communities to purchase gift cards in a way that stretches their dollars.   Checks should be made payable to Christus Victor and indicate “Armful of Love” in the memo field.

Donations can either be placed in Sunday’s offering basket or dropped off at the church office Monday – Thursday between 9:00-4:00. Since gift cards are like cash, please do not send them in the mail.

All gift cards will be distributed to the families before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thank you for your continued support for this program and helping make the upcoming Christmas season a little brighter for others!  Questions can be directed to Michele Iaria 612-209-4354  or anyone on the Social Ministries Committee.
