Come and enjoy the warmth of a fire, as we gather for fellowship while having time together with good friends, and don’t forget the food. The women’s retreat will be November 16-18. We will be heading up to Wapo on Friday and then enjoying a weekend of crafting, relaxing and socializing. There is a sign up at the welcome desk. More details will soon follow. The choirs are looking for more singers. Show up on Wed. nights 7:00 for Upward Call, 8:00 for Senior Choir. Also, there is a sign up at the information desk for middle school age kids and any high school age kids that want to come and sing from 5:30 - 6:00 on Wednesdays. Weird food will be included in this deal. (appetizers for confirmation pizza…) Get your name on the list. Must have 15 signed up to make this happen. You have until NOW to sign up. We would begin on Wed., Oct. 3rd.

….Scour your car floors, search within the inner-most bowels of your garage; don’t stop until every last can is collected and dropped off in the newly erected Redemption Center (next to the CV bus) for orphaned pop cans. The youth committee is coordinating this monumental task to bring together orphaned pop cans and give them a second chance. Proceeds go towards supporting Feed My Starving Children and our Youth Ministries. Together we CAN make a difference in the lives of cans and in the lives of our youth. We CAN DO!
