SENIOR CONNECTION

…The “Connectors” are plugging into the Senior Day event at the Dakota County Fair on Thursday, August 9th.  We are planning to see “Chautauqua”, a musical story about the railroads in a tent at the Fairground.  Show time is 2:00 PM, but those in the know think we should be there by 1:00 PM to get a seat.  Let’s plan to meet at CV at 12:15 PM, sip some iced tea or lemonade, share program ideas for the next three months, & coordinate rides to & from the fairgrounds.  The Fairgrounds event is free (both admission & show), but there will be a parking fee.  Watch for a sign up at the “Information Desk” on August 5th.

Like to Bake???

The Social Ministries Committee is seeking donations of food & bakery items for the Concession Stand at this year’s CV Garage Sale, August 10-11, 2007.  Sign up sheets are at the “Information Desk”.
