…Come demolish unusable foundations, clean up fire debris, & enjoy God’s whisper at Wilderness Canoe Base.  Corey is leading our first trip to help out.  We’ll be leaving at 6:30 AM on Monday, August 13^th & returning at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 15^th.  (This date is a correction to the previous dates posted in the bulletin & newsletter).  Trip is open to high school students, college students, & adults.  Cost is $20 for youth & $80 for adults.  See Corey to sign up.

It’s not too late but time is running out.  The 2007 WOF conference is October 19-20, at the Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul.  This year’s theme is “Amazing Freedom” & will again feature all of your favorite speakers & special guest Nicole Nordeman.  CV has 25 reserved tickets for Saturday, October 20^th.  Pre-Conference tickets are also available for Friday, October 19^th with the theme “God Has A Dream for Your Life”.  Cost of both days, $99, includes a box lunch for each day.  Cost for Saturday only, $45 + $8 for box lunch for a total of $53.  Please contact Carla Tappainer or Barb Damlo as soon as possible.  Payment must be made to Carla by August 15^th.

…Please add your name & information to the babysitting chart posted on the youth board so CV families can have a list of names to call when they need child care.  The list will be published in the church newsletter in September.

…to all the wonderful volunteers who make VBS such a wonderful & meaningful experience for the kids of CV!  Special thanks to Anne Nyquist & her team of “Special Agents” & to Lee Stark for the wonderful job done on the scenery.

….2007 CV Garage Sale:  Friday, August 10th, 4-8PM & Saturday, August 11th, 9AM-2PM.  To implement Operation Garage Sale, we need agents, resources & time.  First, search your perimeter (attics, basements, the neighbor’s garage) for stuff to sell.  Second, search yourself for the talents needed to further the mission.  Finally, search your calendar, synchronize your watches, & volunteer your time to complete this mission.  Call Super Agent Julie McDonald (952-250-1503) or Supere Agent Nancy Erler (952-432-8081) for information concerning this mission.
