Wilderness Canoe Base Needs Help
If you have been following the news lately, then you’ve probably heard about the fire that is raging along the Gun Flint Trail. Wilderness Canoe Base (which is owned and operated by WAPO) was directly in the middle of that fire. They lost 36 of 60 structures including cabins, outhouses, and their new sauna. Wilderness was the destination of a mission trip a couple years back. So a few of the high school youth and adults are familiar with the camp.
In the next few months, Corey will be organizing trips up there to help with the clean up and rebuilding process. You’re invite to help out in some way or form. Wilderness will also be sending out a wish list of items that need to be replaced. If you are unable to volunteer, but still want to help out then you can donate or purchase items on the wish list. Dates and the wish list will be posted on the edevotionals, church website, and in the newsletter.
Please keep them in your prayers.
