MEN’S BREAKFAST

MIDWIFE KITS TO TANZANIA

…Celebrate the gift of life by participating in the 7th annual Midwife Kit Project.  Next Saturday, May 12th, we will be assembling midwife kits for our sisters and their newborns in Tanzania.  We will begin at 9:00 AM & do this in assembly line fashion.  We work until we run out of donated items.  Please sign up at the “Information Desk” & place your donations in the cradle by Friday.  Social Ministries would like to give a big THANK YOU for your continued support.

CV MOTORCYCLISTS

The local chapter of Christian Motorcyclists for Christ (CMA), has a weekly ride.  They ride for about 60 or 70 miles & most times end up at the Culver’s in Apple Valley, on Galaxie Road.

WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE

…October 19-20, 2007.  Calling All Women – it is time to sign up for the 2007 Women of Faith Conference at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.  A time to laugh, relax & be renewed.  A time to spend with your sisters in Christ.  Bring yourself, your friends, your mothers, your daughters, your sisters.  This year’s theme is “Amazing Freedom” & will again feature all of your favorite speakers & special guest Nichole Nordeman.  Christus Victor has 25 reserved tickets for Saturday, October 20th.  Pre-Conference tickets are also available for Friday, October 19th with the theme “God Has A Dream For Your Life”.  The cost for both days is $99 and includes a box lunch for each day.  The cost for Saturday only is $45 plus $8 for a box lunch for a total of $53.  Hurry & make your reservations today by signing up at the “Information Desk”.  If you have questions, please call Barb Damlo or Carla Tappainer.
