The Social Ministries Committee would like to thank the congregation for their generous support of the Armful of Love project.  We were able to assist eight needy families, and their Christmas will be more joyous because of you.  Thanks!

…funds from the garage sale, and fundraising efforts for the mission trip, we were able to reach our financial trip cost and will be giving about $1,000 to the Hurricane Relief Ministries at Christus Victor In Ocean Springs.  We ask you to keep us in your prayers as we embark on our mission trip to the Gulf Costs – Kate, John, Cassie, Nicole, Rick and Corey.

Starting Sunday, January 7^th, BOPS will be meeting in the Youth & Family Room.  The High School Youth Group will have their gatherings in Corey’s office.

…would like to sincerely thank all of you that sponsored a secondary student in Africa for the 2007 school year!  Because of your generous support we were able to sponsor 21 students!  This is a priceless gift to the people of Tanzania and your willingness to support these children is much appreciated!

Join us on the first and third Tuesday mornings of each month at 7:00AM in the Art Room for Bible Study, discussion, and prayer.  Bring your Bibles, coffee provided.

…It’s sad to be thinking about taking Christmas down when it’s not even over yet, but we need help to do just that.  We especially need some strong people to help take down the tree.  Please join the Music & Worship committee on Saturday morning, January 6^th at 9:00 AM to un – decorate the Sanctuary.  The more bodies, the faster it will go!

…is coming Thursday evening, January 11^th.  It begins with dinner at 6:30 PM.  Come!  See and experience a practical introduction to the Christian Faith in a new and exciting multi-cultural and multi-denominational setting.  If you’ve already experienced ALPHA, consider joining a Thursday evening dinner and study group called “Challenging Life Style”.  Sign-up sheets for both events are on the “Information Desk”.
