…December 2^nd at 8:30 AM.  Meet for breakfast at Perkins, and then go get the church Christmas tree!  The sign up sheet is at the “Information Desk”.

Bring your family for some Advent fun and help decorate the church for Christmas!  It will be on Saturday, December 2^nd from 5:00 – 8:00PM.  We’re starting with a potluck supper at 5:00PM.  Please bring a casserole and a salad or dessert to share.  Beverages and plates, etc. will be provided.  Anyone who is able, please bring a tall ladder also.  Several committees are joining in this year and there will be activities for all ages (age 3 through adults), including crafts, cookie baking and carol singing.  We’ll also have lots of fun making the church beautiful for our Lord’s birth.  Please join us to kick off the wonderful season of Advent.

The next New Member Orientation will be on Saturday, December 2^nd from 9:00AM to 12:00 noon.  Our focus will be Christian Faith & Discipleship, Lutheranism, & Meaning & Purpose to your Journey of Faith.  If you, or someone you know, is interested in joining CV, please contact Pastor Kent at (952) 454-6927.

Thanks to your awesome recycling efforts, Social Ministries will reach its goal of raising $500 with the next shipment of cell phones & ink jet cartridges!  We’ll then pass this fundraising project on to the next committee, so please continue to bring in your old cell phones (no accessories please) & ink jet cartridges.  The collection bin is located in the church office just inside the door.  Many thanks!!!

Join us on the first & third Tuesday mornings of each month at 7:00AM in the Art Room for Bible Study, discussion, & prayer.  Bring your Bibles, coffee provided.
