Our theme is “Tired Feet.”  Join us at Wapo on November 17^th – 19^th.  The cost for the weekend is $100.00.  That includes two nights of sleeping at Wapo, four meals and crafting expenses.  Sign up at the “Information Desk”.  If you have any questions, call Nancy at 952-432-8081.  We hope to see lots of you there!

We will no longer be reimbursing people for sales tax.  Christus Victor is a tax-exempt organization and should not be reimbursing people for sales tax.  When someone turns in a receipt and requests a reimbursement check, the sales tax amount should be subtracted.  Please see Deanna for a copy of the tax-exempt number in order to avoid being charged sales tax during the transaction.  If you have any questions, please contact Steve Nierengarten or Kathy Wittnebel.

Volunteers needed!  This year Christus Victor, South Metro Vineyard Church and Thrivent Financial are teaming up to provide 250 Thanksgiving baskets for Dakota County area families.  All the action will take place on Saturday, November 18^th at South Metro Vineyard beginning at 9:00 AM.  We need you to help unload the truck, assemble boxes, fill the boxes, make deliveries, make phone calls, clean up, etc.  This is a great project for Confirmation groups, families, or a group of friends.  Your assistance would be appreciated!  Please sign up at the “Information Desk”.  If you would like to donate money towards these baskets, please write the check out to Christus Victor and write “Thanksgiving baskets” in the memo.  Your checks can be turned in at the office.  If you have any questions please contact Peggy Sunwall at sunwall@charter.net. 

Camp WAPO will be hosting a campfire at Lord of Life Church, at Ramsey, MN, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday, November 4th. You’ll have a chance to meet counselors for this past summer, play games, and sing camp songs. This event is free. Sign up on the Youth Board if you want to attend. 

The Endowment Committee is sponsoring a 2^nd wine tasting and silent auction on Saturday, Nov. 4^th from 6:30 – 9:00 PM at Il Vesco Vino in St Paul.  Cost is $45 per person and $15 is a tax-deductible contribution to the Endowment Fund for scholarships.  Event sign-up forms are available on the bulletin board in the hallway.  Information on making a tax-deductible item donation for the auction is posted on the Endowment Committee bulletin board, as well as donation forms. If you are planning to attend and would like to volunteer some of your time for event activities there are sign-up sheets are on the desk in the Narthex
