A REMINDER ABOUT THE FALL WORSHIP SCHEDULE…Starting this Sunday, September 10th, worship times will be at 8:30 & 11:00 a.m., with education/fellowship hour at 9:45 a.m.
SEPTEMBER JOYFUL SERVANTS NEED YOU!…We need more members of CV to step forward to help with our weekly worship services. Please sign-up in the hallway! Thanks for your joyful service!
CV CHURCH DIRECTORIES ARE HERE!!…Directories will be available for pick up at the “Information Desk” today. After today you may pick up your directory in the church office.
FOOD SHELF ITEM OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER IS…toiletries – toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, etc.
Faith Trek Open House Today – Preschool & Kindergarten children and their parents meet in the Kindergarten/Preschool classrooms. 1st through 5th graders and their parents, shepherds, & first rotation teachers meet in the Fellowship Hall for a brief introduction to Faith Trek, the shepherds and teachers. Children will then be given Faith Trek Passports to complete as they journey through the different classrooms.
Shepherds will meet in the Fellowship Hall and first rotation teachers will meet in the Children & Family Ministries Office immediately after introductions.
Completed registration packets can be turned in today in the Art Room. Additional Registration packets will also be available in the Art Room today.
The Faith Trek team is excited about starting out another year of exciting Bible learning! Be sure to join us next week at 9:45 as we explore the story of Creation.
Parents and other adults – as you are mingling and touring the classrooms this morning, please check out the Children & Family Ministries Bulletin Board for ministries information. If you enjoy children, Bible Stories, laughing, being creative, eating popcorn, & just plain having fun; please consider signing up to help on the sign-up lists on the Bulletin Board. THANK YOU in advance for being a blessing in the lives of our children!

THE MUSIC ROOM REMODEL IS IN THE WORKS…Thanks to a successful garage sale, the remodeling of the music room is starting immediately! We are looking for volunteers that would be able to help with 1) emptying the room, 2) painting the ceiling and walls of the room and two closets, 3) removing the carpet and preparing the floor, 4) laying ceramic tile. A schedule is posted on the music room door to indicate your willingness to help in any or all areas, and the best time for you. MEN’S BIBLE STUDY…Join us on the first & third Tuesday mornings of each month at 7:00AM in the Art Room for Bible Study, discussion, & prayer. Bring your Bibles, coffee provided.
“THE BIBLE”, A SUNDAY MORNING ADULT CLASS…Starting September 17th at 9:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall, with “How and Why to Read the Bible”. Please register at the “Information Desk”.
“REAL SENIORS” AGE 60+…First meeting Thursday, September 21st at 2:00 P.M. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall.
NEXT NEW MEMBER SUNDAY IS OCTOBER 1ST…If you know someone who is searching for a church home, invite them to check us out.
ALTAR FLOWERS…the following Sunday remains open for which you can order altar flowers: November 5. The cost of an altar bouquet is $21.25. If you are interested in ordering flowers for this Sunday, please call Marilyn Kujawa at (952) 432-4956.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF PRE-SCHOOL-5TH GRADERS…Our first field trip of the season is going to be October 15th (not October 8th as stated in the newsletter). Remember, this is an in-church field trip including lunch, a movie, games and a surprise!
