CV CHILDREN & MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS…are you ready for a week long tropical get away to Treasure Island?  Then sign-up to join us for VBS!  Dates for this year are Sunday, July 30^th – Thursday, August 3^rd.  The mini-musical will be on Sunday, August 6^th. ATTENTION ALL INCOMING 9^th – 12^th GRADERS!…It’s time to sign up for the VBS leadership retreat.  It is Friday, July 28^th (leaving church at noon) – Sunday, July 30^th (arriving back around 3:00PM.  The commitment is every evening 5:30 – 8:30PM Sunday, July 30^th – Thursday, August 3^rd plus the 10:00AM.  Church service on Sunday, August 6^th.  You will be acting and singing and leading the opening services every night of VBS.  Cost will be around $40 to cover boat gas, van gas, and food.  We go up to the Klein cabin near Garrison, MN.  I can take about 6 kids, so first to sign-up get to go.  The sign up is at the information desk.  Look for VBS retreat.
 

PRESCHOOL – GRADE 5^TH…Join us for fun & fellowship at “The Blast” (an indoor playground with an outer space theme) on Sunday, July 16^th.  The bus will leave church at 11:30AM & return at 3:00PM.  Fee is $5/child (includes lunch – pizza).  Parents are encouraged to attend.  Upon return to church, ice cream will be served.  Permission slips can be found at the “Information Desk”.  (Socks are required)
 

4^TH ANNUAL HACKERS & WHACKERS GOLF TOURNAMENT…Monday, July 24^th Amery Golf Course.  Check-in & Lunch start at 11:00AM.  Shotgun start at 12:30PM, with the closing meal & awards at 5:45PM.  The cost for the event is $100.  For more information, please call Heather at (715) 268-8434 or email her at heather@campwapo.org.

COOKIES FOR VISITORS…huddle in the Fellowship Hall after the 8:30AM worship on Sunday, August 6^th.  Anyone interested in checking out this avenue of service is welcome to join us.
 

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY…Join us on the first & third Tuesday mornings of each month at 7:00AM in the Art Room for Bible Study, discussion, & prayer.  Bring your Bibles, coffee provided.
CORRECTION…VBS Sunday Worship will be held August 6^th at the 10:00AM service (NOT 11:00AM as written on the registration form).
ALTAR FLOWERS…the following Sundays remain open for which you can order altar flowers:  July 23, 30; November 5.  The cost of an altar bouquet is $21.25.  If you are interested in ordering flowers for one of these Sundays, please call Marilyn Kujawa at (952) 432-4956.
